Quick guide
- Select the image and confirm the preview is the intended source.
- Review up to eight HEX swatches extracted from the downsampled pixels.
- Click a useful swatch to copy it, then test it in the real design for contrast and readability.

Validate the result
With an almost solid test image, the first result should be near the source color, rounded into the extractor's 32-level RGB buckets.
LIMITS
Know the limits
This is an approximation based on an image downsampled to at most about 96 pixels per side and quantized color buckets. Small accents, translucent pixels, exact brand values, and color profiles can be missed.

Why is a small but noticeable logo color missing from the palette?
The palette prioritizes frequent colors in the reduced image. A small logo occupies too few sampled pixels to rank among the eight most common buckets.
Does my data leave this device?
No. This tool is designed to process its working data in your browser. Advertising may load separately, but your tool input is never sent with it.
