Quick guide
- Select a PNG, JPG, or WebP source image.
- Set the maximum width and an acceptable WebP quality, then run the compression.
- Review the new dimensions, byte size, and reduction percentage, and visually inspect the file at its real display size.

Validate the result
Set a maximum width below the source width; the output width should not exceed it and the height should shrink by the same aspect ratio.
LIMITS
Know the limits
Output is WebP and the tool only downsizes, never upscales. A small, already optimized source can become larger, while EXIF data, animation, and some color information may be lost.

Frequently asked
Does quality 80 mean exactly 80% of the original visual quality?
No. It is an encoder setting that controls the compression tradeoff; neither perceived quality nor output bytes are a fixed percentage of the source.
Does my data leave this device?
No. This tool is designed to process its working data in your browser. Advertising may load separately, but your tool input is never sent with it.
