Quick guide
- Select the target date from the calendar field.
- Read D-minus for a future date, D-plus for a past date, or D-Day for today.
- For a formal deadline, compare the result with any rule that counts the current or due date inclusively.

Select tomorrow and yesterday; they should show D-1 and D+1 respectively, confirming the direction of the count.
LIMITS
Know the limits
The result is a calendar-day difference based on the device's local midnight and does not count today as day one. It does not calculate hours, business days, or holidays.

Why does a deadline tomorrow show D-1 rather than two days?
D-Day notation measures the difference between today's midnight and the target midnight. Inclusive schedules that count both today and the due date use a different convention.
